Primary Research for opening

Kieran Panchal

From looking at George's group's opening ideas, I believe that the narrative is very effective and as a viewer I would definitely be likely to watch it. I like this narrative because it appears to follow a character and routine that we can relate to as an audience, making it feel generally more realistic. Furthermore, in terms of production, the idea is very doable and can easily be filmed effectively with a low budget.

Grace Cambridge

I like the story idea for 'Delusion' as it is relatable and its something that we perform on a day to day basis. Therefore, by subverting the idea and making it sinister makes it interesting and different from other horror films that I have seen. I would go and see this film as it looks intriguing and the title is the one I chose in the survey as it fits the storyline.

Isaac Randall

I like the age of the protagonist as it is an age that is similar to the target audience of the film. This means that the audience can easily relate to the character and also the narrative of the opening, as it is something that the audience will be familiar with, consequently making the film scarier. The opening uses enigma code in order to grab the audience's attention and make them suspenseful of what is going to happen next.
